Where I Wander... all over!! 2 week road trip to wherever! FIRST STOP Utah, Provo, Park City Oct 2020

In Oct 2020, I had about 3 weeks off work. Covid caused international travel to be very limited.  My girlfriends and I couldn't plan a trip like we did last year to Greece.  So, this was going to be a solo adventure.  I didn't really have a plan, other than I wanted to see Glacier National Park.  (Montana)  Google maps told me it was about 22 hours driving time away.  I reached out to a friend from high school, who lives in Park City, UT.  I hadn't seen her for many years- and she and her family said, yes, come stay here!  It was so great to catch up with Sarah, and meet her kids!   I left Chandler, AZ, and drove to Park City. Sarah and I had a yummy dinner- tacos for me! Then crashed for the night.  The next morning, we hung out for a bit, and then I left to go see the fall colors. She has a moose mama and calf that walk right by her house... we were hoping they would show up that morning, but no luck!   The night prior, my drive into town was at dusk/dark... but I could

Zion, how many times can I go back? This was the first multiple day visit... MAGIC!

There are no words to describe how beautiful Zion National Park is.  My first visit, was a half day with my cousin David.  We stayed at Bryce Ntl Park- but that story is for another day.  We decided we should pay a quick visit on our way home...  We rode the shuttle, did a couple very short hikes, I got to lay my eyes on the park so I could set up a GRAND adventure with friends.  This story, is a brief overview of our trip. I scored permits for the Subway hike- the proper name is Left Fork... for 8 of us!  I was elated.  We didn't end up going due to a flash flood warning the day we needed to pick up our permits- but we made the best of it- and it was WONDERFUL!!  I gathered up my friends, put together a rough itinerary- including Antelope Canyon, Horseshoe Bend, and the Toadstools on the way to Zion.   We were brain fried by beauty before we even got to Zion.  LOL!  These pics are from the first day, on our way to Zion from Phoenix, AZ.  These locations are all near Page, AZ. Let's start this out at Sedona's Cathedral Rock Trail.

Last week, a friend and I ventured up to Sedona for the day.  She had never been, and I love taking people places their first time.    I thought we'd start with Cathedral Rock trail,  as it's my favorite in Sedona at this point in time.  If you go, remember you need a Red Rock parking pass.  You can purchase one a the trailhead, or most of the gas stations have them available.   I believe the day pass is around $5, maybe $8.   If you have a National Parks Pass, (America The Beautiful Pass) that also works.  :-) Hooray for that $80 purchase, I've returned my investment many times over.   Cathedral Rock Trail, is short and sweet. Just over a mile out and back... with over 650 ft in elevation gain, so you are going up!   The view is so beautiful!!  The 3rd picture,  is a section of the trail that you climb up, you will need to use your hands.  There are plenty of foot holds, so upper body strength isn't necessary.  😊   If your afraid of
